FIRE SAFTEY IN YOUR HOME Recommended locations for Smoke Detectors NFPA recommends one Smoke Detector on each floor, in every sleeping area, and in every bedroom. Make sure no door or other obstruction could keep the smoke from reaching a smoke detector. When monitored by Protected Access Security the Fire Department will be notified as soon as the signal is received at our central station.
